Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 400 lbs 2.00-10.00 higher over 400 lbs 2.00-6.00 lower on a light test in some classes. Feeder heifers under 450 lbs 2.00-8.00 higher over 450 lbs 2.00-7.00 lower. The better feeder bulls under 400 lbs 12.00-23.00 higher 550-750 lbs steady to 7.00 higher and 450-550 lbs and the plainer kind 2.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 5.00 higher. Not enough bulls reported last week for a trend. Light run today due to the extreme heat in the area.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
