Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 400 lbs. 4.00-10.00 higher; over 400 lbs. 4.00-7.00 lower. Feeder heifers 4.00-6.00 higher except 400-500 lb. were 5.00-7.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 3.00-5.00 higher. Quality was average. Sold some nice take home cows during the stock cow special. Buyers were aggressive on the front end replacement cattle. Fleshy new crop calves are getting discounted.
