Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 450 pounds were 2.00- 5.00 lower due to new crop calves starting to show up. Feeder steers over 500 pounds were 5.00- 10.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold 5.00- 10.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 2.00- 5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00- 3.00 higher. Demand was strong for all classes with weaned calves topping the market. Quality was more attractive.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
