Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Trade activity and demand was moderate to good. Dairy heifers traded to 2.00 higher. Average dress Premium White and Breaker slaughter cows traded mostly 4.00 to 7.00 higher. This is largely due to the increased quality and number of cows fitting into these categories. Average dress Boner and Lean slaughter cows traded 1.00 to 2.00 lower, while average dress slaughter bulls traded 3.00 to 4.00 higher. There was a good run of bulls today with many of them being light and going back to feed. Next available report will be Thursday, October 24, 2024.
