Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers sold 7.00 to 8.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher. A light number of average dressing bulls while a large number of the slaughter bulls offered were high dressing made it hard to call the market. Trade was active with low demand on slaughter steers and heifers, but good on slaughter cows.

Most of the cows had been fed.
