Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Today at Fairview, feeder steers and heifers traded sharply higher across the board. As the last feeder special was conducted in mid-June, no price comparisons for today's sale. Good to excellent demand for a heavy offering of locally produced, quality feeders. Pasture conditions in western Illinois continue to fuel the feeder market as grazing conditions continue to worsen.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
