Reporter comment USDA

As filed

No comparison to last due to weather conditions but slaughter steers and heifers were trending higher on the higher quality steers and heifers with better packer needs this week. No Holstein slaughter steers or heifers today. Cows were trending higher on higher dressing cows and bulls were trending significantly higher with active buyer participation. A light offering of feeder calves that were mostly steady and a light offering on all classes of cattle due to slick road conditions this week.
