As filed

Compared to last week, slaughter steers were mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Holstein steers were mostly steady to 2.00 lower. A lower undertone was noted on slaughter heifers based on a limited comparison. Slaughter bulls were mostly steady to 8.00 higher based on a limited comparison. Slaughter cows were mostly steady. Favorable weather conditions allowed local livestock producers to get much needed field work done which contributed to lighter auction receipts.
