As filed

No comparison as the last sale was September 10, however, offerings were moderate with mostly average to good quality. Sale and buyer attendance was lighter than usual due in part to the nice weather - ideal for fall fieldwork. Internet buyer participation was notable, with buyers online and in-person showing the most interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned feeder cattle. As fall is in full swing, temperature fluctuations present health challenges to newly weaned calves and buyers reflect that concern via demand and purchase intensity. Next feeder calf sale is November 5, 2021.
