Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower with lower packer bids this week. Holstein slaughter steers were sharply high today with active bidding. Cows were 3.00 to 7.00 higher and bulls 1.00 to 4.00 higher with a lighter offering this week. All classes of feeder calves were significantly higher with a good offering of value added and fancy type feeders and good buyer inquiry today.
