Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week slaughter steers were 5.00 to 7.00 higher with slaughter heifers 3.00 to 8.00 higher and a good offering of higher quality steers and heifers this week with active buyer participation. No Holsteins slaughter steers today. Cows had instances of higher/lower with bulls 4.00 lower bit good demand on higher dressing breaker cows. Feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady and feeder bulls trending lower with a good offering of fancy type feeders and lots of buyer interest.
