Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower with still better demand on higher quality steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were 7.00 to 9.00 higher with a light test today. Cows had instances of higher/lower with good demand on breaker cows and bulls 4.00 higher with good demand. Feeder steers were mostly steady with feeder heifers instances of higher/lower and feeder bulls sharply higher and active buyer participation with good groups of fancy type feeders today.
