Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week slaughter steers were 2.00 to 3.00 lower and slaughter heifers 3.00 lower with lower packer interest this week but still good value on higher quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers today. Cows were 3.00 to 5.00 higher with bulls 4.00 to 11.00 higher and good buyer interest. Feeder steers and heifers were sharply higher and feeder bulls unevenly steady and a good offering of value added and fancy type feeders and active buyer participation.
