Compared to last week slaughter steers and heifers were 1.00 to 2.00 higher with higher quality steers and heifers higher today. Holstein slaughter steers were 5.00 lower on a lower test. Cows were 1.00 to 3.00 higher with a good offering of high dressing cows and Holstein cows were 3.00 to 9.00 higher on a light offering. Bulls were 4.00 higher on a good offering this week. Feeder steers and heifers were significantly lower with feeder bulls had instances of higher/lower with lots of fancy type and value added feeders and good buyer interest today.
