Compared to last Thursday the feeder market was stronger with a good quality offering. Feeder steers 600 lbs and under were mostly steady to 6.00 higher, while the yearling steers were sharply higher with a good supply and good demand. Feeder heifers 600 lbs and under were 4.00 to 6.00 higher or greater in spots with a good supply and the 600-800 lbs heifers were sharply higher with good demand for long weaned and pre-conditioned calves. Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 lower with a good supply and slaughter bulls were steady with good demand.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
