Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday: Feeder steers and heifers sold 14.00-16.00 higher with the most desirable calves selling even higher. Bull calves traded 10.00-12.00 higher. The very high quality offering of feeder cattle drew strong demand from the buyers. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-5.00 higher and no trend on slaughter bulls due to low receipts last week.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
