Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday: Feeder steers sold 8.00-10.00 higher. The 450-600 lb. feeder heifers traded sharply higher and all other heifers were steady. Today's feeder quality was very good and the buyers showed much higher demand for all feeder calves. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls were steady.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
