Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday: All classes of feeder cattle sold sharply higher. Today's offering was lower in numbers but the quality remained very good. Feeder buyers still are showing strong preference for the calves in the 300 to 500 lb. weight range and the weaned cattle of any size. Slaughter cows traded steady to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls were steady on a light test.
