Compared to last week, 400-500 lb steer and heifer calves sold steady, with 500-700 lb steers trading 3.00-5.00 higher and a part load of 760 lb steers selling with a higher undertone. Feeder heifers weighing 500-600 lbs sold 3.00-6.00 higher with 650-750 lb heifers heifers sold with a higher undertone with two pot loads of good quality 700-740 lbs heifers in the offering. Quality of feeder cattle weighing 500-700 lbs was much improved over last week with and active market on calves and the two pot loads of 7 weight heifers. Slaughter cows traded steady to firm.
