Compared to the last auction two weeks ago, steer calves weighing 450-600 lbs sold mostly 10.00-15.00 higher, spots 18.00 higher with 600-800 lbs trading 3.00-7.00 higher and over 800 lbs were lightly tested. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold with a sharply higher undertone with few good comparisons from two weeks ago, 500-600 lb heifers sold 12.00-20.00 higher, spots 25.00 higher with 600-700 lbs trading 8.00-12.00 higher, over 700 lbs were lightly tested but sold with a higher undertone. Demand was very good on a moderate to heavy supply. Quality ran very deep on Monday's auction with many consignments of top quality calves selling with very good demand. Buyers were very aggressive to purchase feeders especially calves that will go to grass weighing 400-650 lbs. Slaughter cows sold fully steady to firm with two weeks ago.
