Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Friday's auction was a Special Bred Cow and Heifer sale, with a nice offering of top quality black bred heifers in the 3rd stage selling with good demand; with several consignments of good quality young bred cows in the 2nd-3rd stage selling with moderate demand and several young pairs selling with good demand. Feeder cattle were lightly tested selling in small packages and singles. Slaughter cows on a nice offering sold steady to firm.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
