Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers 6.00-7.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady. The fire last Friday at the Tyson plant near Garden City, Kansas is the cause for the steep price decline on the fat steers and heifers.
