As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers traded steady to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady. This week's offering included many large strings of high quality cattle, including several groups of heifers bought for replacement. While everyone was ready to get back to business after the holiday break, buyers kept the market in a pretty comfortable trading range for most of the day. Supply heavy and demand moderate.
