As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers under 650 lbs sold steady to 4.00 higher with no true comparison for heavier cattle. Slaughter cows 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Very active market for all weights of cattle with particular interest in the load lots of yearlings on offer. In particular was a load of preg out heifers carrying enough age and a good enough weigh up to bring an impressive figure, with hopes of hitting the April board, currently holding a near $10 premium to the June contract. Supply moderate, demand moderate to good.
