As filed

Compared to the last sale four weeks ago, steers and heifers sold mostly 2.00 to 5.00 higher with 700-800 lb heifers trading as much as 10.00 higher on the strength of a large reputation consignment of backgrounded heifers. Just a slight weakness was evident on the 900 lb plus yearling steers which averaged a couple dollars lower than the last sale. Really good buyer attendance and activity this week. The fed cattle market isn't lending much support to the cash feeder trade but the lower corn futures this week hasn't hurt. Supply heavy, demand moderate to good.
