As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers 5.00-10.00 lower. Feeder heifers 1.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to firm. Demand moderate. Supply moderate. The feeder market is trending lower with futures losing lots of ground over the past 10 days due partly to the large number of cattle to work through from the 2018 calf crop including an expected large April feedlot placement figure. The weather in this area couldn't be much different as hot and dry had already began a year ago while heavy rain fell Tuesday as the rainy season has now moved into its seventh month.
