As filed

Based on very limited comparisons with last week, feeder steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Demand good. Supply moderate. Feeder futures were down 120 to 230 points Tuesday with cutout values plummeting and June live cattle down the 300 point limit. Slaughter is expected to be around 95 percent of normal this week which will be essentially a full harvest on a tonnage basis with carcass weights currently about 6 percent heavier than a year ago.
