As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers near steady. Feeder heifers 2.00-6.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand good. Supply heavy. Overall quality and condition was not as attractive as last week although some of the top steers weighing 500-650 lbs reached prices similar to last weeks runaway trade. Several backgrounded steers this week including a load of nice yearlings weighing 776 lbs @ 234.00. Lots of cows moving again this week although some areas did get a good shot of rain over the weekend.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
