Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers 2.00-5.00 higher. Feeder heifers 6.00-10.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00-5.00 higher. Demand good to very good. Supply moderate. About all classes of feeders were represented this week with some very nice consignments on the top end. A big move in beef cutout values last week helped create a higher fed trade which is spilling over into this feeder market so far this week.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
