As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers under 700 lbs 2.00-8.00 higher based on a limited market test. Several consignments of steers weighing 800-965 lbs sold with a higher undertone following last weeks record breaking feedlot trade and with the current feeder index also at a record 257.07/cwt. Slaughter cows 3.00-4.00 higher. Some of the light cattle under 550 lbs were still carrying considerable hair and appeared to find discounts of 5.00-10.00 in spots.
