Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers 5.00-10.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 lower. Demand moderate. Supply light. Hard to sell the small packages of unweaned calves right now coming out of a prolonged period of warm days and cool nights. The calendar has turned to November now with hopefully some better weather for starting the high risk calves. Fed cattle traded lower last week while feeder futures have also lost considerable ground in recent days.
