Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 8.00-10.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold 6.00-8.00 lower. A high percent of the offering went to slaughter. Packer buyers report that the meat movement from slaughter cows and bulls has slowed and especially cuts of meat from breaking cows that would normally move through restaurants. There was a light supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs. Supply was moderate and demand light for slaughter classes.
