Reporter comment USDA

As filed

This report combines the regular slaughter/replacement sale with the replacement sale this evening. Compared to last week Breaker and Boner slaughter cows traded 3.00-5.00 lower with Lean slaughter cows trading steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls traded 4.00-6.00 higher. In the evening replacement sale bidding was very active including internet bidding.

A package of 4 year old third stage bred cows traded at 2,600.00 per head. High quality third stage 2 year old heifers traded at 2,200.00 per head. Supply was heavy with very good demand.
