As filed

Compared to last weeks light test, few comparisons could be made to the large strings of yearlings offered this week as over 10 loads were on hand. With that said, feeders sold with a sharply higher undertone. A few comparable sales traded 7.00-15.00 higher, with spots 20.00 higher. Boxed beef prices have soared as consumers stock up, fed prices look to improve and a shortage of feeder cattle trading over the last few weeks made for good to very good buyer demand. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 3.00-6.00 higher.
