As filed

Compared to last week, comparable sales of steer calves weighing 500-600 lbs and 650-700 lbs sold mostly steady, with 700-750 lb steers trading 3.00-5.00 higher and a light test over 800 lbs selling with a higher undertone. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs on a light test sold with a higher undertone, 500-650 lbs sold 3.00-5.00 higher and a pot load of heifers weighing 705 lbs sold with a higher undertone. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate. Despite the production challenges that continue to plague the cattle feeding industry feeder cattle prices are holding up very well. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm.
