Compared to the last special two weeks ago, 4 weight steer calves were lightly tested, with 500-600 lb steers selling firm to 3.00 higher and yearlings over 650 lbs sold with a higher undertone with two pot loads of 825-840 lbs trading with a sharply higher undertone as there was a limited offering of yearlings two weeks ago, Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs were not well tested, with 500-600 lbs selling steady and 600-700 lbs trading steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Overall quality on steer calves and yearlings was very good and all sold on a very active market along with a nice offering of 6 weight heifers.
