Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher but with spots up to 10.00 higher on some fancy, thin fleshed grazing type cattle under 525 lbs. Demand was good to very good, best for those under 650 lbs in thin condition with grass just around the corner. Supply was moderate with some winter weather Thursday morning likely reducing receipts. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00-4.00 higher.
