Compared to last week, similar sales of steers and heifers sold steady except for a couple groups of fancy heifer calves weighing 550-600 lbs selling with a higher undertone. Demand was moderate to good. Supply was light following a long stretch of larger sales. Corn traded sharply higher with dry conditions across the midwest and cattle lower on the board Thursday. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 lower.
