Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the last reported market three weeks ago, steers and heifers sold 3.00 to 7.00 higher with the most increase on steer cattle. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 5.00 higher. This week's hottest ticket was for grazing steers weighing 500-550 lbs but demand was very good for all weights and classes of cattle. Several local farmers were active throughout the sale, encouraged by some positive movement in the futures market and improved weather. Supply heavy.
