As filed

Compared to last week, steers sold mostly steady with a few 450-550 lb steers 4.00 to 5.00 lower, heifers steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Another week but the story is the same in the beef sector with labor issues causing disruptions at many packing plants, backing up market ready cattle now over 500,000 head. It will take quite a while to get current once chain speeds pick up, certainly much longer than it's taken to fall behind. Supply and demand moderate.
