Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers under 500 lbs sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher, heavier weights 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Pretty good condition on most of the cattle this week but quality ran up and down throughout the sale. Corn price is really pressuring the feeder market with July corn closing within pennies of 7.00/bu. Supply and demand moderate.
