As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers sold mostly firm to 6.00 higher, few spots up to 12.00 higher, except light weights under 500 lbs traded with a sharply lower undertone. Heifers 2.00 to 7.00 higher, spots sharply higher on heifers over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows unevenly steady. An attractive offering was on hand to start the new year at the local auction barn and buyers were ready to get back to business after the holiday break. Most weights and classes had little trouble finding new homes even with some severe weather moving into the area over the weekend. Supply moderate, demand good.
