Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls traded steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was good on a very light supply. Supplies were effected by the Winter weather that came through the area Wednesday morning dropping several inches of snow. The USDA's Cold Storage Report released Monday, reported total pounds of beef in freezers were up 4 percent from the previous month and up 11 percent from a year ago.
