Compared to last week, steer calves sold uneven from 3.00 lower to 3.00 higher. Heifer calves sold 2.00-4.00 higher with spots 7.00 higher. Yearlings were lightly tested and sold with steady to firm undertones. Demand was good on a moderate supply. The quality of the offering varied greatly and was presented in mostly small packages. Cattle Futures traded mixed as Grain Futures continued their downward trend due to rain across their growing area.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
