Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 500 lbs steady, over 500 lbs 2.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs steady, over 500 lbs 2.00-6.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady. Demand uneven. Supply moderate. Best demand seen on several packages of good quality steers weighing 550-650 lbs. Fed cattle look to be steady to 1.00 lower this week hampered by the shortening holiday week kill and cutout values that appear to be headed seasonally lower.
