Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 550 lbs steady to 3.00 higher, over 550 lbs 3.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 3.00 lower. Demand very good. Supply heavy. Lots of outstanding consignments this week from some of the areas most progressive cattlemen. Offering was mostly fall calves with several large reputation groups selling right off the cow with two rounds of shots.
