Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Monday, the bulk of slaughter cows sold steady and slaughter bulls sold steady on a very light test. There was a very light supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs were scarce. Early morning precipitation with a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow made travel hazardous and reduced receipts today. Supply was light and demand moderate for slaughter classes.
