Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Monday, breaking and boning and slaughter cows sold 7.00-10.00 lower while lean slaughter cows sold 5.00-6.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold 10.00-12.00 lower. Slaughter cow and bulls lost nearly all the price gain they experienced last week. Since the first of last week slaughter cows and bulls arrived at slaughter plants in numbers more than meeting packers needs. There was a light to moderate supply of bred cows and a light supply of cow/calf pairs. Supply was heavy and demand light for slaughter cows.
