As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold mostly 1.00 to 3.00 higher, few spots up to 5.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slick side roads and bitterly cold temperatures did keep some consignments on the farm for another week but demand was good for larger strings of weaned cattle that did show up, light to moderate for the unweaned cattle, particularly heifers. Tuesday's sale also included a string of western origin bred heifers and some 3 to 5 year old bred cows, all in the 3rd stage, all selling with good demand. Supply moderate.
