Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers and heifers traded 2.00-7.00 higher to gain back most of last weeks losses. A much more optimistic feel to the market this week following the report that the trade tension with China was relieved which boosted the ag markets. Demand was good for a moderate supply. A recent rain for most of the area has curbed the thought of drought. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 higher.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
